Canada

We explore. We study. We protect. Canada is home to an outstanding variety of caves and karst areas, which we believe worthy of exploration, scientific study, conservation, and safe, responsible enjoyment. Speleo Canada is Canada’s national association of organizations dedicated to the exploration, study, conservation and safe enjoyment of these caves and their resources. As the association representing organized Canadian cavers, Speleo Canada acknowledges and honours the special relationships Peoples of Canada have with these lands and their natural resources for thousands of years.  In our activities, we undertake to respect these relationships, to collaborate in the spirit of Reconciliation toward a better understanding of the interconnected ecological and cultural values of caves, and to protect these irreplaceable resources in trust for future generations.
